The cost of registering a trademark is not a single item. The total is made up of the official fees paid to TÜRKPATENT plus the attorney's service fee; the official fees depend on the number of classes and the action requested, and they are reset every year. Opposition to publication, appeal against a refusal, a letter of consent or an assignment each carry their own official fees and are not included in the initial filing price, so when you compare quotes ask which of these items are excluded. Because protection then runs in ten-year terms, factoring in the renewal fee from the start is the only way to budget a trademark at its real cost.
